Anti-waste recipe – Meat sandwiches

Ingredients for 6 sandwiches

  • 16 oz mixed minced meat (pork and beef)
  • 1 egg
  • 3,5 oz sliced cooked ham
  • 3,5 oz sliced scamorza cheese
  • 5 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

Put the minced meat in a bowl and add the egg, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs and grated cheese. Mix all the ingredients with your hands and divide the dough into two equal spheres. Roll them both out on two sheets of oven paper to create two rectangles of the same size. On one of the two, spread the slices of scamorza cheese and ham and cover it with the other rectangle, helping you with the oven paper. Divide the huge meat sandwich into 6 triangles. Cover them with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Then put them in our aluminium container and bake for 20/30 minutes at 356°F in a heated oven. Serve the meat sandwiches still hot.
